This small RF Tag utilizes a CC1101 packet radio transceiver IC optimized for 915MHz operation to transmit data based on its configuration.
Custom firmware can be loaded via a standard JTAG port into a Microchip PIC16LF1823T or Saturn PCB Design can develop firmware for you.
The power supply is a CR2032 battery located on the back side of the PCB and can last for years depending on the firmware.
